Finance & Operations Manager Job Opportunity

For over 30 years, we have worked with dioceses and parishes across the UK and beyond, inspiring leaders and providing practical tools that enable growth in worshipping communities.

As we enter an exciting new chapter, partnering with the Church of England to more than double our impact, we are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position at the heart of LyCiG, ensuring the smooth running of our financial and operational processes. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead on financial management, budgets, and reporting.

  • Oversee the administration of national conferences and events.

  • Support the work of our Trustee Board, ensuring compliance with Charity Law.

  • Manage resources, communications, and day-to-day operations.

This role is home-based, with attendance at national residential conferences and meetings required. You will be part of a small staff team and a much larger volunteer team, all passionate about seeing the church in the UK grow.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a committed Christian with strong organisational and financial skills, who can combine independence with being a team player. You will bring attention to detail, excellent communication, and a heart for supporting churches in mission and growth.

Key Details

Hours: 30 per week (0.8 FTE)

  • Salary: £24,000 – £26,400, depending on experience

  • Location: Home-based
