Why does youth ministry matter?
Every young person needs what only Jesus can give them. Growing youth ministry does not begin with a fear of decline but a love for young people and a love for God.
God is at work in the lives of young people, and the local church is best placed to reach out to them with this good news.

Who is this training for?
This course is for people from your church who will lead and support youth ministry.
Growing any ministry requires leadership and vision, so this course is both for those who will work directly with young people and those in senior church leadership who will communicate and support this vision.
What if we have no young people?
Jesus tells a parable of a shepherd who leaves his flock to go after the one sheep. Youth ministry begins when we choose to pray for and prioritise young people even if those young people aren’t yet a part of our church.
This course will equip you to find out who the young people are in your community and give you the confidence to grow a ministry with and for them.
