28 March 2019 St Peter's Gildersome - 10am-3.15pm

Last September we ran a very successful training day aimed at reminding, equipping and encouraging us all to get more involved in the ministry of evangelism.  This is seen increasingly by the Church of England as a major issue for all our churches.  The feedback was very positive, our great speakers went down very well, and there was a creative buzz during the whole day.  However space was limited and to give more of our diocese the chance to reflect on some small steps they could take we're providing a second opportunity to join in on 28 March 2019 at St. Peter’s, Gildersome, starting at 10am until 3.15pm.  It will involve a small admin cost of £7.50 - book your place via Eventbrite.
 
We will cover the four basic, parish-based evangelistic skills:

• Scattering Seeds
• One to one evangelism
• Evangelistic events and talks
• Running a really good enquirers course
   
  The day begins and ends with worship.  We provide drinks throughout and participants are invited to bring a packed lunch.  The day is open to all clergy and lay people who want to engage with people outside the church.
